Buddy cleaning out basement found a bag of Pacific Verelite wads and a couple bags Federal 12 S1 Pushin Cushins.
He's wondering if any collectors out there. Wants to throw them Thursday if no interest. |

If no takers here, and before trashing; do you have a shooting range nearby? We have a lost-n-found/for sale by owner rack at our club that things like this get put out on w/a "FREE" or $5 donate to the club sign attached, they usually get scooped sooner or later. |

I'm 1/2 way in between Bismarck and Minot. I would be interested in the wads if we are close enough. |

They are the green ones, and yes they've found a home other than the landfill.
Thanks for posting the recipes. |

Makes you feel good to see something get used as intended instead of junked.
(also shows the age of most of us here) |

That data. "Dupont" & "Hercules". Boy we had it good back then when all the powder companies were separate. I have a bunch of those old wads too-red ones and blue ones. A friend just gave me a heap of their old yellow .410 wads too. |

Because I shoot a lot of "off" type loads , use this sort of thing all the time . Don't shoot much 12ga , but found 1K Trapper wads for 5 bucks and got them . Couldn't use them as is - don't shoot anything that heavy . But , trap club has been throwing Fio style chedd cases away by the boatful and got a pile . Also have a pile of 20ga cards , sssooooo , cut the chedd cases to 25/8 , 16 grns 700X , a Trapper wad with a 1/8 filler (sorry Mark) and 7/8 shot - mu winter skeet load . Works terrific in my SX-1 , and am using up a bunch of old relic comps that have found their way here ! (another kudos for Cliff and his trimmer - still haven't been able to contact him in a yr - hope he is just retired in Arizona or where ever his alternative place may be !) |
