This year's spring woodcock season wasn't as fruitful as past years with regard to getting pictures, but this is what I have.

| Both the Dog and the Birds appear to be haveing fun !! My question is : does the Dog get bitchy/twitchy because you don't have a gun with you and shoot the birds . Have seen doge get mad about that and especially of you MISSED the bird ! |

If you asked my dogs, they'd probably tell you they don't want me to shoot birds. They much prefer looking for live ones than dead ones. |

GREAT pics. Love those dog shots, Dogs are beautiful !
On a phes hunt, ONCE, back in the lower Hudson Valley NY in the "80s, a 'cock broke out ifo me. Friggin thing scared the **** out of me. I must have just about stepped on it. Was carrying a 12 at the time and took a shot at it and got it (Boy, did it stink).My one and only experience with them..... |
