This video shows how to decock the gun with the safety in the rear most position. My 16ga has the 3 position and I've had it for many years yet never knew this feature. Anyone use this feature? I think its at @ 7 minute mark that he talks about it. |

Sure. And it works 
The short version is slide the safety to the rear position, have the breech slightly open, then pull both triggers. Usually when I pull the back trigger the action closes on its own.
Just remember to open and close the gun to cock the hammers before removing the FE. |
