I hadn't heard of that group before, they'll have an exhibit at Pheasntfest this year.

Gentlemen,

A business can support all kinds of different groups, supporting ladies in our Hunting/shooting sport is admirable for sure, telling me I must support their business and not use lead shot, is definitely questionable.. In Fact there is no real scientific evidence that Lead even effects any upland birds. When all this lead ban 1st started we did our own test at the farm, none of the lead shot placed in the feeders or around them was ever consumed by any of the game birds we stocked on our farm. We also had Ducks and they never touched the lead shot either. Do your own test then make up your own mind as to what is really going on. I also did this on the non Commercial Regulated Shooting grounds I helped run for a while, not one time was any lead consumed by any of the stocked upland birds or Ducks.

I do not see anything wrong with propagating their own business, however do not try to make laws that tells me, we must use their products. IMO this lead ban stuff is a lot of misinformation to begin with. Maybe in the fly ways it might be partially true, never saw a Duck eat lead of any kind however.

all the best,

Pine Creek/Dave
