I am not going this year. I went last year in MN and really enjoyed it. Some of the speakers/forums were excellent. Its also cool to see what vendors are trying to sell.

Reading the link I posted more closely, I see that "Trampled by Turtles" is headlining PF's first ever Concert for Conservation on Thursday Night of Pheasant Fest It looks like there are only about ten tickets left.

Damn, I wish they would have played at Pheasant Fest last year in MN.

I want to go pretty badly, but can't make it happen right now. I'm hoping next year it will be someplace like Bismarck, ND or Kansas City, Mo.

I also hope they run it later in the year like they are doing this time. Our chukar season is open through Feb 28th. I always wondered why PF has often been held when seasons were still open in some parts of the country. You get more attendees when you don't compete with the actual hunting of birds. You also get more attendance when the roads aren't iced over. Hopefully, March dates will become standard procedure.

Fourtown,

Too far away from PA for me to attend, maybe when they have something closer!

all the best,

My wife and I will be going--driving from Indiana for a bit of a getaway; she likes to see the dogs and I like that too--plus I need a new pair of boots etc. We'll check out the vendors and have a good time; hopefully time to have dinner at Minerva's, an excellent place.
