Unfortunately since COVID Precision seems to be more expensive than even BPI. And that is a hard act to follow LOL.

Heard through the grapevine that a case delivered from Precision is $232

Mine shipped from Recobs this morning and it works out to $193 a case delivered all in. They both use Spee Dee Delivery when possible.

Recobs has always been THE place to order from if you are going to order on line.

I agree, I get as much as I can from Recob's.

But Precision uses Speedee also, but you have to ask.

Mine breaks down to $207 a case. Difference could be where they're going.

I’d say that’s true. Mine was $225.

If you live in Wi. and order from Recobs you have to pay sales tax.

You also pay more for shipping if you are outside of the Spee Dee delivery area. Spee Dee is the lowest priced shipping carrier out of any. And has lower hazmat fees.

I just ordered my measly 5 bags from Recobs; left some for everybody else. Was just told that someone just ordered 5 cases. I asked salesperson about their future availability seeing that a post was made awhile back from the owner that if you want them you better get them NOW as he wasn't sure about the future. That struck here odd as yes, people like us (16gagers) have been calling recently for some, but they just put an order in themselves for some more & it was accepted without problem. She also said it was news to her that Drs may discontinue (?)

I believe Nick Hammack. He owns the molds, not DownRange. He said this might be the last run.

The difference in price for my order would be due to the WI sales tax.

Going to Recob's website, they show the DR-16 as being out of stock. Did they maybe fill those orders they already had, and that's all they had?

Got my 2 bags from Precision, very happy but they are a different plastic than my other bags…more translucent but still green, slightly stiffer, same weight (35.2 gr). And maybe a hair thinner on the cup petals.

Not complaining, just curious.

I noticed the change in tint as well. Plus, for the first time I noticed the imprinted number in the over powder cup. It varies from bag to bag. Anyone know what it represents?

Numbers indicate the cavity the wad came out of.

Been there ever since we put them there.

Petals didn't change thickness with the change in dye.

Regards Nick

The tint is slightly different because Kevin changed suppliers for the dye for all his wads.

He told me several months ago that the then existing supplier changed sales reps and it didn't take long before the new guy declared that he was anti gun and was not happy about selling anything that was gun related.

In return Kevin said that he in all good conscience couldn't support anyone that was anti gun and said fine leave, I'm done with your company. Then he found a different supplier which took a bit of time.
