Hello Gentlemen,
I tried finding information on this in the search engine, but it was like looking for a needle in a haystack.
Does anyone know if adding a card below the wad (sp16 in a Federal or Cheddite hull) increases pressure? Seems much easier than trying to flare out wads.
Thanks for your help,

Nitro cards do not seal as well as the plastic wad, even though the SP16 isn't tight in either of those hulls, it still seals better than a nitro card. The chamber pressure will not increase.
If my answer still leaves you a bit on the fence, use a 20 gauge nitro card and remove all doubt. |

Plus the SP16' OB cup is next to impossible to flare being so shallow. |
