| I've been roaming around with the search button trying to find if the dr16 will work in 2.5 inch cheddite for 7/8 or 1oz loads but unsuccessful. Any body doing this? |

| You might be able to do it with 2 3/4 inch data if you roll crimp them. |

I am currently evaluating that combination. Strain gauge pressure tests will commence shortly. Will report on results soon.
Addendum: A brief check indicates the preliminary answer is negative. The DR-16 appears to be unsuitable for 2 1/2” Cheddite hulls with 7/8 oz, barring some special overshot seals or extra wad compression measures. The original intent of the DR-16, for which it excels, is 7/8 oz in standard 2 3/4” hulls.
The alternative for 2 1/2” hulls is the SG-16 wad, available in very affordable quantities from BPI, and has proven to be ideally suited for 7/8 oz loads in 2 1/2” Cheddite hulls.

| The post was prompted by the case + I have sitting in the garage. I do have SG16 and loads for those. Just looking for loads in that 1150-1200 fps. |
