It is a little bit cheaper at Natchez than from Hodgdon, but I discovered that a little too late. I use 700X for my 7/8 ounce target loads when I practice with my wobble trap before bird hunting and was starting to run low. Now I need to start looking for #9 shot although I've got a good supply of #8 shot I can use in a pinch.

I get Heper shot from my club. I hope there’s no trouble for the next order. We’ll see.

Our club’s ammo manager says Heper is reducing antimony from 6% to 4%. He buys truckloads of the stuff and parcels it out to other clubs in the area.

We have a similar arrangement. We used to order our own, but now another club who deals in large volume orders does the ordering and we buy from them. I think it saves us about $2 per bag, which adds up when you get a ton or two.

Dont know where youre manager got that idea. CAC still has 4 & 6%.

My 4 pounds of 700X from Hodgdon arrived this morning. Good for another year of loading my 7/8 ounce practice loads if my supply of DR-16 wads holds out.

He got the intel from the importer. CAC website looks like they are running short of 6%.

Stopped in Clarksville and got myself 8 lbs of 700x. Always nice avoiding the shipping fees.
