| I shoot 16ga. exclusively for trap once or twice a week using the DR for 7/8 oz. loads. For skeet I use the DR for 3/4 oz practice loads and 7/8 oz for competition. For the occasional sporting clays or five stand, I use 7/8. I do some 5/8 oz. loads using filler for my older guns. Total 16 ga. using the DR is in excess of 10,000 per year. The DR is a very versatile wad and for me the DR is my go-to wad. I would hate to see it go away. |

| Brewster. My competition gun is a Citori 525, 28", with Briley 28 ga and 410 lightweight tubes. I shoot the 28 in 20 ga events. |

I shoot four rounds of skeet a week with my reloads consisting of 3/4 oz shot in the DR wad. When I learned that DR was going under, I ordered a case from Grafs. With what I already had in stock, that should get me through the next two years. After that, I'll have to go back to the SG16 with fiber filler wads.
I shoot mostly through a 2021 Shot Show Special Citori White Lightning. |

The blue Claybuster is a Winchester WAA16 clone suitable for 1 oz and 1-1/8 oz loads. Claybuster also makes a pink wad with reduced capacity suitable for 7/8 oz. Some reloaders complain that they aren't a good fit for straight-wall hulls, depending on the powder. |

| Been shotshell reloading since '72. Started with 12s & 20s. Got bit by the 16 in '90. Sold the 20 and rarely shoot the 12 nowadays. Have 3 16s; a '90 Ugatechea which has been great afield, a '61 A5 Sweet, nuff said, & a recent Iside which has been a bit disappointing. Reload for all of them, appx 600shells/year. Use the SPs about 75% of the time with other being the DR, which i have about a case left & which should last me during these last years..... |

Nick,
Are you looking for options to bring back the DR16?
I see Grafs still has them by the case only, but I don't think I'll need 5k wads... |

In all likelihood the DR will be named whatever Clay busters wants to call it .
The numbers of reloaders seems to have not changed nor have the numbers changed any .
I in all likelihood will deliver the mold to Clay busters for call it their own so to speak.
Just need to finalize and implement.
Just as long as my 16's get fed a diet of 1/2 , 5/8 , and 3/4 oz loads I care not who molds them.
Regards Nick |

| Nick- When Claybusters implements your mold, please let us know what they are calling it. It is important i the small load/high velocity endeavor. Thanks for your work and your load information. |

| Very happy to hear this news. I bought a case before Kevin turned out the lights but I plan to need more. |
