| I celebrated early this morning with a fresh, new flag on my flagpole. I often pause and consider what my life would have been like if I wasn't fortunate enough to be born in this great country and the opportunities I was afforded by virtue of that birth. God bless America. |

Riflemeister: Couldn't have said it better myself.
Spent a quiet day here with my bride, instead of meaningful chores, I washed my old car and spun back through my memories. I have been so blessed in this life.
My cup runneth over. |

Lloyd3,
I did pretty much the same thing, hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill with my daughter and wife, it was a very low key celebration here at our house. Watched the fire works on TV instead of going out, was almost 100 degrees here.
all the best,

| Hope everyone had a great time. Friday night the weather came out of the south, unusual for our area and took down an old hickory tree. We knew it would need to be cut down in the next few years so no surprise. Just didn’t plan on dealing with it on the 4th of July. Anyway, the silver lining is I won’t need smoking wood for a few years. |

| The weather at the Cottage has been terroristic the last 3 wks . A near Tornado tree topping , a downdraft I'd say was 70 mph , and a boat fire on the large boat dock the day B4 the 4th ... They had a great fireworks display that went off in spite of another weather threat - the whole thing was surreal , but Awesome in the end !! |
