Interesting--these hulls are, I believe, Federal clones (as are Alcan plastics). I have measured and cc'ed all three types and that is my conclusion. Some time ago one could buy these hulls from the Rock Island Armory, new, primed for .04. Maybe I should sell some of the 5000 I purchased.
If you have these hulls I have found that the Fiocchi primer is a 'best fit' due to the slightly greater diameter of that primer.
With 4756 @23.5/24grs. & a G/Bp one ounce wad and a one ounce payload, I have found them to be excellent for upland game as well as decoying ducks. |
