I think I just threw a couple of those in the garbage over the weekend.
Now what do I do. Sad

DUH, just noticed this one still had shot in it, that helps a little, but who needs 25 lbs of lead #5's??? Pigeon shooters?

What is the going rate for a 25 lb. bag of lead shot?

Local big box was asking $33 for a bag of magnum shot -- maybe a bit high? Midway list for $28, plus shipping.

I'm new to shotshell reloading and don't have a sense of what a fair and/or good price would be. I'll likely won't be loading too much -- just a small amount of 5's or 6's for pheasant in a 16 gauge.

Thanks!

I'm a bit confused here by all of this. Do people honestly buy empty bags of shot? Do I need to do something special to preserve my shot bags? I'm sure I have some around here. I also have thousands of zip locs as well as some full trash bags. What will someone give me? Very Happy

25yrs. ago I saw a shooting vest made out of 25lb. and the old 5 lb. Lawrence shot bags. I take a few filled with sand to the local club rifle range bench each year, but dang!!! I'm sittin' on a couple hundred $ worth of empties, @ $5 each. Wink
