WOW-stunning case colors for an 100 year old gun! And still excellent contrast in the damascus. Where'd you find her?

Hey Drew,
I bought the gun from gunbroker.com. I'm ok with the purchase, however, the gun has more case coloring on one side than the other. Naturally the seller and my photos were of the side with more CC. Shot it yesterday and it worked great with 2.5 inch shell. However, kicks like a mule because of full and full chokes. Will have the chambers lengthened to 2.75 inch and forcing cones lengthened. My gunsmith Larry Feland, acknoledged in John Houchens new book, "The Legend Lives", does all of my barrel work with great sucess. Did the same with my Parker PH 16ga and it's one of my best shooters, however, this model "O" rivals the Parker's fit and snap shooting feel.

Will keep everyone posted on the clean up as we go forward,

Mike

Good plan Mike-I had not planned to lengthen the chambers on my 06' 2E as I was only going to use short low pressure shells, but it does recoil more than my 11' OO (which weighs only 2 oz more and has the some stock measurements) As I've said before, I'm very recoil sensitive but was having trouble keeping my head on the stock for the second shot on low gun skeet doubles.
