My younger brother rang this morning and said " Ive got a 16 ga gun you can have It's Spanish, sidelock with a round body action.I don't know what make it is .I'm getting on a plane to New Zealand ,I'll be back in two weeks I'll post it over to you when I get back.
I live in Perth and he lives in Cairns which is equivalent to Seattle WA and Tampa FL He's gone to NZ for two weeks plus 1 week for postage and I'm sitting here wondering what Spanish sidelock roundbody gun it is.
I've scoured my library for any thing pertaining to Spanish guns and only one thing turned up an article by Terry Wieland.Short of searching every issue of Double gun Journal I'm going to have to wait 3 weeks in suspense.
good shooting

At least he told you it was a 16 gauge. He could have left you hanging as to the bore size. Then you'd be wondering for weeks, is it a 10 gauge or maybe a 28. No, it's gotta be a 16 or a 20. Yea, but they made more 12's. |

He is also paying for postage and doesn't expect to be reimbursed right It would be dead wrong for him to give you a gun without also paying to have it shipped to your address |

If my brother sent me an AYA round body boxlock I'd kiss him on the lips!
Barry, I'm dying to know what it is!

How to keep an idiot in suspense?
The title of your post on the index page pretty much did it for me. |
