Does anyone know where I can get a new unfinished stock for a 16 ga Model 12 Winchester? I guess I could even accept a used one if it was in excellent condition.

XVIgauge:---you might try Midwest Gun Works near Arnold, Missouri--they offer new stocks and forends for Model 12's, A-5's, etc. as well as other restorative work. They have a website including a list of what they do, as well as prices---- but I'm sorry I do not know the address. They do a lot of advertising; I can't vouch for their quality. |

Look at the website for
www.gunstocksinc.com
They have VERY reasonable semi-finished stocks for the model 12! |

I checked out their site, anyone bought one of their stocks? I'd like to see a picture. |

If you find a good 20ga M12 stock during your search, snap it up - they are interchangeable. I had both a 20ga. and a 16ga. M12 until a couple months ago and I did the switch just to be sure I was told correctly. Frame size is identical. Good luck in your search! |

There is another place I see advertised and I think it is Boyds. I believe they advertised unfinished stocks. I just saw it in some magazine. I'll look around. |
