We had great weather, fair shooting on everyone's part and a good lunch to follow.

It certainly beat a day at work. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Going back out this week with some of the guys from the trap club. Gonna give the Merkel a chance this week.
The Sissytori Feather got the go on Friday.

I had a great blast and cast day. Saw TJ at his trap club and shot 4 rounds of trap with the citori. Then, did some bass fishing on Lake Hopatcong in the afternoon. I have a nice landscaper's sunburn to show for it too!

WW, sounds like you had a good afternoon. Catch anything of size?

My friend up at Lake George just called this afternoon and said the smelt are running which means the Lakers will be coming in to get them.
He caught his first one today, just over 6lbs. Last year they were catching 15-18 lbers off the docks. Wow.

I'm heading up I hope this week to catch a few. Very Happy

6lbs!!! Wow those are some big smelts - what are the lakers like? Anything like stripers?

sounds like a great day - I had to settle for a goofy day on the skeet field - I still hit better at "crazy skeet" but the rust seems to have come with all the rain - I hope I can represent well at the grouse shoot coming up - if my camera is there, I hope to have some pics for proof/evidence

Well, I spent the day (still am, just taking a break) trying to get my kitchen walls finished up and painted and the old vinyl floor taken up, have new cabinets coming tomorrow, and new laminate floor. Also had a tornado about 5 miles southwest of town and two more about 8 and 12 miles northwest, and one about 15 miles northeast. Rained and blew all day long.

Sounds like you guys had a lot more fun.

No bass, just the sunburn. Water is still a little too cold so we tooled around the lake a little and ate at the jefferson house.

I had a great time shooting with TJC nice guy nice course great weather. By the way TJC didn't mention he was high score. We were the only 16 gauge shooters on the course can you believe that. By the way thanks for the 3 box's of trash.

My score wasn't high enough to mention. Crying or Very sad

And I'm always glad to get rid of the trash to someone that can/will use it. Very Happy
