Someone looking for a solid, inexpensive shooter ought to buy this; good price if condition is reasonable. I've got three of 'em, and my 16 was my go to gun for years. The 5100's are basically the same as the 311, but the designation was discontinued in the late 40's which means you get a nicer gun than the later Stevens offerings. Despite the connotation of the Stevens name, every bit the gun a Nitro Special is. IMHO, of course Very Happy !
