There it was in the catalog:

"Percussion double barrel shotgun, marked Garantizada por B. Villabella Eibar - 16 ga.; 28" barrels - Good condition-Dull gray-brown metal; strong markings on barrel rib; simple construction w/ no decoration. Good mech; sound stock.. ,"

we shall see what the UPS Mule wagon delivers, hopefully next week

how could it be any better?? it's a 16 ga, and you don't have to carry around a bunch of loaded ammunition with you!!

every single time you load it you get a custom handload just for that particular shot, no empty hulls to chase and pick up, no empty cardboard boxes, !!!! you can take your gun in the swimming pool with you, or the horse trough or the shower, (well at least the metal parts), what a great deal... Laughing

this has every advantage over all those poor guys that have to rely on that smokeless powder kind of stuff, which, as everyone knows, is just a passing fad Wink

the order was faxed within 1 hour of reading ...

Friday was a great day...

woooooooo hooooooooo jah......

Sounds like a great 16, my muzzle stuffer is a 14 ga. They are a lot of fun, now if I could just find a flinter. That would be true happiness.

every time i see a 16 flinter i also have to start looking for a wheelbarrrow to haul the $$ they seem to require..

but they are usually very beautiful guns, well made with a lot of care, and the guys doing the new ones aren't getting rich...

& then there's the double barreled version and the european/british made guns .. even more expensive

so i will play with this "new-fangled" percussion gun and see what happens..

maybe someday a flintlock, if i'm a good boy and save my paper route money... and quit wasting money on ex-wives
