Nice wood. Now if it only had a pistol grip on it. |

Very, very nice. Too nice to chukar hunt with, or at least I'd be buying one of those neoprene stock covers from Galazan's to protect the wood.
Well done. |

Ya know, I seriously was thinking the same thing.
I couldn't hunt with it because it was too damn pretty. My Ugartechea has nice, tough looking simple grain wood. I love crashing though bushes with it.
I was thinking, "I'll sell it, and get a simple grained one"....STUPID!!
I paid no extra dough of the wood upgrade (?)
I was shocked.
I'm gonna mess the h-ll out of this.
I'm gonna use it, bust brush with it, look at it and enjoy every minute of it.
I'll just come home, clean it, steel wool it a bit, a coat of tru-oil glossy or even flat.
Then do it again

Don't knock pistol grips!
I do like them for some extra control and recoil reduction. I've got a couple Merkels 20 & 28ga that live next to this one with pistol grips that I think the world of.

Good for you Roger! I firmly believe that guns like that should be hunted with. After all, who would appreciate using the gun to its utmost if not you? Some guy like Donald Trump may end up with the gun down the line (hopefully WAY down the line), but that guy will only be a poser or a show-off and will not deserve to put scratches on the stock like our Roger Over Under deserves to. Each of us only goes around once in this life, and a guy who knows and loves fine guns should hunt with them without excess concern for keeping the guns perfect. |

Wow.
Gentlemen.
Thank you so very much.
I'll enjoy this gun even more with those words.
I really do appreciate it. |
