... at the Fair Lakes store in Fairfax, VA.
The weekly ad only mentions that the 12ga and 20ga Game Loads are on sale. However, just this morning I carried 7 flats (250 round/flat) of the 16ga up to the register and the store manager rang them up at $3.98 per box of 25. I also picked up a couple flats each of the 12ga and 20ga.
BTW, I double checked to make sure they are the 25 rnd/box version.
I have no idea if any other Dick's stores are offering the same price.

I just scored 36 boxes of 7½'s. They hadn't had any since last spring; must've gotten a shipment, so I bought all they had. Our club gets a discount on game loads/gun clubs anyway, so on top of the sale I got them for $3.12/box out the door. $3.98/box is our reg. club price. |

Yup, one of the Dick's near me had 12 flats Thursday aft. I called on my way home from the Drs appt and they said they had a lot.
I figured 3-4 flats.
I got there and they had 12 flats of 7.5's. Guy asked me how many I wanted. I told him all of them. He looked at me funny and then got me a cart.
Sitting good now. Should be fine for the next yr or so with what I had already, the 12 I just got and 3 more flats of Federals coming from Sportsmens Guide. Yup, I'll be OK until next year.
It is funny though that the other Dick's which is about 8-10 miles away from this one, didn't have any RGLs in 16ga. Go figure. |

Bass Pro Shops had quite a deal last week at their year-old store off I-94 near Portage, IN; they were offering Remington 12 ga and 20 ga. Remington Game Loads for $2.88/box (that's right: $2.88/box !!) if you bought at least a flat of 10 boxes. At that price, I bought 2 flats of 20 ga. #8's...alas, they did not offer 16's.... |

At that price you have to buy a few flats of each just because. Nice catch there Wolf.
I probably should add a few flats of 12s and 20s while they are on sale but I just don't know when I'll use them. My son used to use the 12ga when he gets a chance to hunt with me but now with all the 16s I've got plus the supply of ammo he can shoot 16ga. Besides, that way he can carry ammo for both of us.
He's 26 yrs younger, he should expect it. |

Well, I do shoot the .410 sometimes, but that's not really a gauge |

CF16,
I have to take the others for a walk once in a while. They start crying if I don't and then I have to deal with the rust etc.
So an occasional walk and shoot trip keeps them happy and you need ammo to do that. |

Wow, I started reading that and thought you were going to say in Rockaway NJ.
Figured I'd have to start changing my name and address.
Hey, at least I didn't check again this week at the other Dick's to see if they got any in. Not yet anyway. |

TJ, you were probably that guy anyway since they cleaned out every Dick's in America to get your special order filled in NJ!
