Plain bbl and unlike most of her vintage she's in pretty full blue too.
She appears to be rust blued, but that just maybe because her blue is faded huh? The wood on her is a little better than average except for one small knot in the buttstock. I do know that her pump handle wood is original. I can't say that for positive on the buttstock - it seems to match. Is there any way to tell? Any ithaca sites I can visit to verify age by serial number or some such?

Do you own a gun store? That's what the photo looks like. Is it safe to assume that local residents pay tax ?

Nice gun.......I'm guessing he's selling this gun to buy another one at a shop he mentioned on the other Ithaca thread?

No I don't own a gunstore but wish I did. Yes, local residents pay tax where I live, how about you?

Its a bit hard to tell if you are directing questions to me, or merely opening discussions. I will answer any and all questions with total honesty - if they are directed to me (directly). I have a sterling reputation as an honest and fair person to deal with. That I would go to the trouble to give 16GA'ers the first crack at a nice specimen of this model, should be good enough. But at the same time, feel free ask me any question you find important regarding this gun. Would I buy it? In less than a heartbeat.

I'm sorry if I hijacked your thread. But the photo looks like it's taken in a gun store. Commercial grade panelling. Gun on a glass case. Another gun on the wall. Accessories on the wall down the way. If that is your den, thats real cool. I always wanted to turn my den into a gun display room. A gun library, if you like The question was directed at whether or not some one would have to pay you sales tax if they were a local resident.

Again, sorry.

No offense intended......I read your other post where you mentioned a 37 for sale and another poster was trying to find out where it was. The gun you have for sale looks good.
