Forget that, just bring bail money!! Good luck. Have a great trip.

I leave on the same day for Newfoundland. Moose and Caribou on my menu.

Moose and Caribou!!

Get a big freezer!! Lots of steaks and chops from those two critters.

Best of luck to all on their adventures this year.

Hey PGG, no need to get too big a freezer. I've got plenty of room in and around the pheasants for a bunch of moose meat. Wink

Rumor has it that your freezer is full of shotgun shells. But, maybe we can all get together at Thuddds place for a moose roast and to drink Tims wine, after I get home. Then we can light up a syinky cigar, and make fun of Kathi as she cleans up after us. I'd invite you over to my place, but then my wife would be sitting down and all of you would make fun of me as I attempt to clean up.

I'm all for a night or 2 of drinking Tim's wine and eating moose meat. But I won't make fun of Kathi, she's got it hard enough just taking care of Tim.
She's suffering enough. Razz

Yeah but, if Tim doesn't read this and respond in his usual self, I am going to feel a bit neglected.

Can we at least pee in his hot tub?

Hey PGG,

We had a meeting this AM and decided the following.

1. We "ain't" eatin no moss sucking wanna be deer (caribou)
2. We want moose steaks and whatever else there is (jerkey, sausage)
3. No moose means you have to but a bunch of porterhouse steaks at the local butcher shop, cut about 1.25" thick. Very Happy
4. The party will start on Fri night and go through Sun aft.

Not to put pressure on you or anything like that to get a moose. But these are the demands. Wink

Good luck and get a moose. Laughing

Hey,

No problem. Four of us are going. So even if the moose won't hold still for my fat ass to fire off a shot, someone may get one. I've been told that caribou is even better than moose. I've had moose before and it is, so far my hands down favorite. I made an elk meat sauce last thursday nite and it came out rather well. I'm not a big game hunter normally, but thank God for good friends with big freezers.

I spent the weekend sighting in. A pie plate is history at 300 yards. I never shot anything before at more than 45-50 yards.

Now, if no moose sit still long enough ... porterhouse it is. And, I've got 5 bottles left of my favorite California Cabernet... Michel Schlumberger. I'll bring them also.

At this meeting that I wasn't invited to, I'm guessing that the cigar discussion came up. If someone is coming down from Canada, they can bring along the Cubans. Ooh ... again, thats me. How about entertainment? Do you want me to pick up a few Brazilian entertainers from the Nudie bar as I pass through the city?

I'm so glad you left me out of this meeting, my life is much simpler now.

And maybe after the weekend is over, I can go buy you all a few cases of shells to shoot up my Land Rover. Wouldn't that be fun?

You keep mentioning the foot tapping thing. Well, as luck would have it, I'm no longer a blondielocks. I am now just a silver fox. So, I guess my ass is safe!!!
