This is Jenna our unexpected hunting guide in Canada posed with Terry and the birds She killed 2 of the Sharptail in the photo and had never been hunting before this , We done a little gun Safety and give her a Marlin 90 and had a blast hunting birds, Sure is the prettiest guide I have ever hunted with , pictured is 12 Sharptail and 2 huns . |

Congratulations on a sucessful hunt! "Canada" is a pretty big place, but I'd guess you were in southern Saskatchewan by the look of things. I know you can't hunt them, but I'm curious how the pheasant population was doing while you were there. I'm hoping to try hunting pheasant again this year after giving them a rest for the last couple years. |

I'll cast the first vote for Jenna as potential "perfect woman"...can she cook and clean guns? |

This is the Indian guides that we had the Two days in the Dakotas when we were heading north , Hunted 2 1/2 days in the Dakotas before heading to Sask. and then one day back in the Dakotas coming back home
The guides names are Casper ThunderHawk on the left and Floyd Montclair on the right , These guys are a real hoot as you will see in the following story.
Yep longwalker we were in the Gravelbourg area , we found Pheasants in the west tward Cadilac but no Huns or Sharptail , No rain meant no crops and no birds. We hunted north and east of Gravelbourg to find the birds we shot.
We ended up with a tally of 42 Huns and 48 Sharptail that we ended up bringing home between the Dakotas and Sask.
This didnt include the birds that we ate while we were in both places MMMmm good eating indeed .
XV'er I have yet to start on the gun project , I have to get the Mold done and out of the way and paid for before I can start another costly project , But I will tell you that their is A LOT OF NEAT THINGS COMING OUT OF ALL THIS AND JUST MIGHT PROPEL THE 16 GA BACK TO PROMINCE . I cannot tell you all about it just YET never count your chickens before they hatch was my
Grandmothers Moto , they may just all turn out to be ducks.
So I and everyone else will have to just be patient and wait out and see what unfolds from all of the things I have been doing , I will tell you it is VERY EXCITING FOR ME and the core people that knows what is going on.
Story to follow in a few nights , have some machines that are running and need attention and must take care of Business first have to keep the Money coming in for all of the hunts coming up .

One more pic for the evening , just had to get this one in there.
This is Terry Gan in the process of taking a Sharptail , you can see the bird to the right if you look real hard , and yes he did take the bird I have pics of the bird going down and the dog retreiving it for him.
Not bad for some one who could not shoot a shotgun when I introduced him to the Marlin 90. He sure did make a great showing after the first day , but we will save that for the story .[/img] |
