That's a damn nice looking Nitro Spyder. 28" in Mod/Full makes for a terrific upland gun way out west. Elmer Keith even prefered 30" tubes for his upland work.
Is that thing chambered 2 3/4"??

I have never had it measured, but I assume it's chambered 2 9/16". I've shot nothing but Vintagers out of it.
All original? Yes, except for the recoil pad. They came with buttplates, but I read that you could order Nitros from Ithaca with pads. I would assume the Pachmayr was added later. |
