Hello -
I am brand new to this forum ( and shooting in general ) and appreciate any and all advice.
I am considering the purchase of a straight stock 16 (or 20) gauge SxS as a "mostly" all purpose upland hunting shotgun. In searching for information I came across a model sold by Griffin&Howe: the Chapuis - RGP Boxlock Ejector.
I noticed in your gunmaker section that there was no reference to this manufacturer... why not? What do folks think of their guns? While this model is at the upper end of what I can pay, there are also a number of appealing models from Ugartechea and others for less. Comments and advice welcome -
Thanks in advance,
peter |

To answer you question I did send the 16ga owner an email telling him of Chapuis.
their web site is
www.chapuis-armes.com
I have a very similar model to the one you are looking at Buy the gun!! These frames are so strong that you could have double rifle barrels put on later!!
They have a very unique lock up
Feel free to contact me
