| < 16ga. General Discussion ~ I shot my new Dehaan |

I ordered 3 Dehaans a couple of weeks ago. A S2 in 20 ga, and two SO 's one in 20, and one in 16 ga (Blk on blk). They showed up friday. Fit and finish was very good, wood was plain (as expected) but was ok for what the shotguns cost, the bal, and fit were great. They feel alive, mount and swing well. The weight may be just a little heavier than the more expenseve guns, but this is what makes them swing well, they are very fast. I shot 3 rounds of skeet, I am not going to speak of the first one , but did shoot a 22 on round 2 and about the same on round 3. The actions are tight,but smooth, after breakin it should be just about right. Over all they are very nice little field guns.
The other two went home with there new owners, I let you know how they liked them.
I am thinking of spending a little more money .and getting a sgr in 28 ga.
Any body shooting one?

Good for you, JD! That great to buy a gun unseen, and it works well for you. Lately, I am 3 for 4 in my purchases, one has a stock that is way to straight for me.

| My 28 ga so 28" barrel is the best handling of the lot. I think the 28 ga SO Actually one of the best balanced of my doubles. |
