Good morning gentlemen!

I'd like to introduce myself. I'm Tony. I've been a fairly frequent visitor here so I decided not to be just a stranger.

I own and use two 16ga. Winchester Model 12s. Both early vintage. One from the teens and the other an early 1930s gun aptly named 'Murder'.

I look to continue enjoying the forum and hopefully contribute when I can post to the good of the order.

Good to be here. All the best,

Tony

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.

It's good to be 'demented' at times. Wink

The past two upland bird seasons I hunted exclusively with my straight grip 16 ga. Model 12 named 'Murder'. I should correct that to three seasons now as I was out this past Saturday for the first time this year. I usually bring two guns but when it come time to choose one 'Murder' comes out.

Having more shotguns than fingers this to me has been an interesting phenomenon. My godson has joined the ranks as a budding pheasant hunter and he shoots my upgraded Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon. He shoots a $3K gun while I shoot my old $200 Model 12. Go figure. Laughing

Life is good!

Chicago Mike,

Glad to be here. Where do you usually shoot at? Maybe we can get together for a local round of sporting clays or five stand.

16 ga. of course. Wink

Watch out, Chicago Mike is trained in the fine art of weaponry by the World's best. He may take you for a beer or two.

Welcome to this highly opinionated, yet friendly, crowd of deviants!
Mitch

Thanks for the warning fellas.

Fear not though, I'm originally a Chicago born native myself.

I've been known to break a target or two on occassion myself. If it gets real bad I'll just have to use a bigger gun. Shocked Wink

I'm sure the beers would taste just as good regardless who buys.

So anyway, who is this "World's Best" he was trained by?
