Question I read every now and then in this forum about something pertaining to the 28 gauge. Most 16 shooters that I know have a 28 or three.

Does anyone know of a forum kind of sorta like "16Gauge" for the 28? Nothing will equal this one! Would like to connect with some other 28 gaugers. I am down to my last two Model 90's (NO THEY ARE NOT FOR SALE!)

I got a turkey at 35 yards with #5's in November and a young buck with a home built slug two weeks later. They will do the job if you have the know how.

Everyone thought I was crazy when I carried a 16 and have no doubts at all now with me toting a 28. Question

No offense here, in fact I would be interested also.

I only have one 28, a nice little Darne that is a delight to shoot.

There is no resource devoted soley to the 28 gauge at this time. It's a nice gauge and I expect the weight of a 28 to be less than 6#'s. Interested to hear about the 28 Darne because I have been looking for one for a LOOOOOOOOONG time! -Dick

I am also a fan of the 28ga. I especially like it for skeet shooting and dove hunting.

Maybe we could change this to the 16/28ga. Society? Uh.... probably not.

I'm sorry to here about the lack of 28Ga resources.

Mine is I think a R-13, coin finish, rosette engraving, horn foreend tip, weighing in at a about 5 1/2 lbs.

Good luck on finding one as I think they are about as common as hen's teeth.
