I'll be in Atlanta for a few days over the holidays and I'm hoping to get some recommendations for interesting shops to check out.
I'm mostly interested in older rifles/shotguns -- pre-64 Winchesters, old Brownings, target rimfires, etc. I grew up with shops that let you prowl the used gun racks, so my preference would be paw through a rack of old Rugers rather than peer over the counter at 2 dozen new WSM's.
I can find the big chains online, but was hoping that I could get some ideas for other places to check out.
Thanks all, for you help -- and please have a safe and happy holiday season.

Chucks Firearms in Buckhead--Lots of high end stuff.
Tucker Gun Shop has some nice stuff also. Last time I was there they had a nice Westley Richards double, I'm thinking it was a 16 |

If you are down near the airport, stop in Ed's and ask for me. We've got several hundred used guns in stock. There's nothing spectacular in stock right now, just your basic pawn shop type guns, but there might be something that suits your fancy.
