| After several years of running skeet at the club and trap before that I turned in my keys,money,etc. today.No complaints just that I am not able to be there enough anymore without having someone cover for me.Strange feeling though shooting and not having to fill the traps,make repairs,keep things running smoth,etc.With gas,shot,etc. prices so high I didn't want to lose shooters who drive one hour plus to shoot and have noone there to run the club.I will still make guest appearances when time allows.Just goes to show how our lives are constantly changing and we have no way of knowing what the future has in store.Down the road,after retirement,I plan to once again be involved heavily in the club. |

hoa,
Sounds like you're a dedicated shooter and ambassador of the games of clay target shooting. Knowing when you should pass the torch only proves it.
Life is always a one day at a time venture. I wish you well in your time until retirement and beyond. 
I'm at less than 7 now until I can look ahead to a new chapter. |
