His comments on the 28 and .410 were equally FOS. But putting the 16 ga comments beneath the .410????

"nothing extra over the 20"? How about handling #5 shot? The 1 oz 20 doesn't do this well, and this is the reason it is maxxed out at 40 yds in the field.

What's the "good reason" the 16 was overlooked by the NSSA? From the post-shotcup era perspective it's the 12 that ought to have been overlooked.

"Advertised velocity"? RGLs run 1250+ fps in every lot I've tested. B&Ps? Well, they don't hurt so good cuz they're slow.

And he didn't even mention hulls, wads.........

I have also sent Mike Roux an invitation to come on this forum and "educate" us on the uselessness of the 16 gauge. I will be interesting to see if he replies to this forum.

It is always sad to see obvious discrimination based on half truths and outright lies. It's even more sad to see it when it concerns some thing you love. I hope every 16er out there will contact him and try to set him straight with real FACTS.

I didn't see any credentials on his website that makes me believe anything he said about the 16ga. His opinion only and not backed up by any relevant practical knowledge. Pure drivel, from a poor drivel pusher.
