| Now days it's hard to know where ammunition is made.Even Winchester makes their 16's in Austraila. A friend of mine bought some Eley 22 ammo that says made in Mexico. Likewise, I purchased some Fiocchi 22 ammo that says made in Mexico. The Fiocchi 45's I bought were made in italy. I just bought a box of PMC 32 auto ammo that says made in Korea. Ive never seen PMC shotshells and am wondering where they are made. Does any one know? |

| Thanks. I was just curious. I try to buy something made in America when I can, but that gets harder all the time. Even when you think your buying from an American company, sometimes its made some where else. I still buy a lot of Remington and Federal ammo because I think its still made here, but I may be wrong on that too. I guess thats NAFTA for you. |

I have 9 flats of PMC Optima 12ga., 24 g (7/8 oz) Outer carton says "Made in European Union/ESP". It has the same headstamp on the brass as Kemen ammo. Seems to be very similar to Kemen in recoil and lack of powder residue in the barrel after firing although I was told they were made by Fiocchi. Good shell from what I can tell so far.

Sounds like it's made in Spain (Espania) probably by UEE, which makes KEMEN, Clay Cartridge and many others (but not Fiocchi). |

My 3 flats of PMC 16ga #4 shot, Heavy Field Load are marked:
Eldorado Cartridge Corporation, Boulder City, Nevada.
However the top flap is stamped, "MADE IN ESP." I already asked where is ESP. Answer is Spain. |

Western (political) Europe countries still write the country name. The made in EU (European Union) is used by Eastern European Countries only (Poland CZ, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary - Lativia, Letland and Estonia have no ammo productions - or I have not yet seen it on the market). Fiocchi has a factry in CZ Rep.
When is indicated made in Europe then it is made in Russia, Belaruss, Ukraina, Moldavia former SSSR - CCCP in kirill letters or an ex yugoslavian state exept Slovenia / they are already in the EU. Europe goes east up to the Ural. The center of Europe is in Lativia. So Ungary would be also western Europe, geog. |
