Wow, that's some real excitement there Charles!! I'm sure we're all curious to find out what this is all about. I'll have to guess this may be bigger than the new wad?!?!

It's just gotta, gotta be a compression formed re-make of the old AA hull or a new one even better...I hope, I hope, I hope!!! I shoot my 16 for everything now and don't feel a bit handicapped. Like all of us I suffer a bit of a hassle with crummy hulls but it's worth it to have a dynamic gun. Once we get a good hull, we'll be in pig heaven!

That being said, I'm guessing Charles is ready for the next big step with his model 90 re-make.

In any event, he already deserves a one and only, never to be matched, charter member spot in the 16 ga. Hall of Fame for giving us the new wad.

A new hull and or model 90 will etch his already honorde name in history!

16 GG deserves accolades for getting us the R-16 too, as well as whomever first came up with the idea of 20 ga. wads in our hulls.

Lenard Lemke got the 20 gauge wad ball rolling.

He's the type never to mention it or worry about getting any glory though...

Many thanks to Lenard too then (and you too Dave for sharing and getting the word out about the success you've had using the 20 ga. wads). I have broken many skeet targets with the sg20l, every one I ever deserved.

Ditto for all the helpful advice and sharing of info. that comes from members here. Without this site, I may never have gravitated to the best fitting and handling gun I've ever owned even after forty years of trial and error with lots of other good and less good (for me anyways) guns.

I'm glad spring is finally arriving. Bring on the targets!

Come on Charles! We're dying here. New Wad, New Hulls, New Non-tox shot, new shotguns! The next thing will be reduced lead prices. Thank you Oh, Charles, Thank you.

OK a bit over the top. When are you going to share the Yippee Ky Yeah news?

Ash

It has to be the Marlin 90 retro. I just can't see him getting that excited about another wad.

If it is the 90, well I am excited too.

Yeeeeeee, Haaaaaaa Exclamation

Bring it on Exclamation

I promised Charles not to let the cat out of the bag. All I can say is that he revealed it to us at the Flatwater Shoot, and we are mum until he OFICIALLY announces it.

It WILL be worth the wait! Cool Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

I think your right postoak! Maybe a Benelli 4" Magnum Magnum 16 Super Black Eagle. Weighing in at 8.3 lbs. Just the thing for Ducks! complete with adjustable comb! The Shells will be available immediatly if not sooner!
