Another wayward Ithaca 37 followed me home-16 gauge-28"-mod. sn dates it to 1940. Has the cross over checkering pattern on the grip and the round checkered forearm. Yet it is missing the butt plate. If anyone has suggestions please chime in. I have called the factory with no success--yet they did say a 28 gauge 37 is coming out this fall--no word on 16. The butt measures 5"--thanks for your time. |

DVK, I'll check my stash and see if I have 1 lying around.

DVK,
Sorry but I'm not finding one around the house. I've got a call into the local smith here. Another possibility is Sycamore Hill Designs

Brownells sells them but they are oversized and must be ground down. |

Log on to WWW.GUNPARTS.COM I think they will be able to help you. They have lots of M37 parts.
