This may not pertain to 16 ga, but the people on this forum seem to be in the know! Any word or rumors on the Ruger Gold Label yet? Last I heard, they were coming out in June '08, well, its June '08.
I know, I know, for the price of the GL, could buy another very good condition Parker in 16ga so why bother?
I handled one of these once, like an idiot I didn't buy it on the spot, came back next day and it was gone. It handled just like an old Parker. |

Go to the Ruger area on Shotgun World. There was a post a while back reporting on Ruger's annual stockholder meeting.
All Gold Label orders have been removed from the books - i.e. cancelled.
So, if you really have to have one, be prepared for the hurt. |
