| Well, I have been thinking about joining the Society for some time. The chance to win a new BPS did it, plus the offer of the great shell bag. I only have one 16 gauge gun at present (an A5 Browning standard made in 1935), but have another on order (the SHOT SHOW BPS) that hopefully will be available this fall. I will be shooting the A5 next week at a vintage shoot for sporting clays. Its choked mod, so I will have to concentrate on the close ones. Its a fun shoot with 12ga handicaped -6, 16ga no handicap, and 20,28 and 410's with a plus handicap. Great fun. Anyway glad to be aboard, I have been lurking here some and enjoy the forums. |

Welcome aboard. I'm almost ashamed to admit how cheap I can be at times. I just recently paid my membership fee, though I have been registered for a few years now. Yesterday I received my 16Ga Society shell bag, and man, it is nice!
I have been amazed at the level of expertise that is represented on this board, as well as the members' generosity in sharing their knowledge. This forum is an extremely valuable resource, and well deserves our support. |

A great day today. Got home from work and found that Fedx had delivered my new shell bag. Very nice bag indeed. Logged on here to find that my "handle" now sported the 16ga ICON. You folks know how to make a guy feel welcome. Thanks to all involved and thanks to you fellow members for the warm welcome.  |
