FS -16 gauge Sterlingworth, 28” extractors, s/n 367xxx. An early Utica Fox with some Philly features (top lever and safety button). Gun is honest, has hunting wear but is in overall nice condition. Weight is ~ 6 pounds, 5 ounces. Barrels are probably 3-weight. All original with unmolested bores, chokes, chambers, cones, action screws, no bore dents, rust, pitting or bulges. The barrels “ring” very clearly, original chambers for 2-9/16” shells. Has some color case in protected areas, sides of receiver are graying. No modifications from factory specs as far as I can tell.
Excellent bores, nice factory choke combination as follows:
R .654/.011" (Imp Cyl)
L .655/.030" (Full)
Stock has hunting wear and barrel blue is fading. Dimensions: 1-9/16" by 2-11/16" by 14" LOP. Original butt plate and grip cap. Butt plate has two small chips on its edges. Checkering is pretty decent, not worn excessively. Lever is to the right, gun is on the face, tight, and it works perfectly. Crisp triggers with nice pulls. Ready for the uplands or for a custom Fox project. $1295. plus shipping to your FFL. Additional pics available to serious inquiries (tell me what you want to see).
