What gun that is not currnetly in 16 ga would you make in 16 ga and why?
I am not into sxs's and I live to hunt ducks and geese so I am hankering for a gun similar to the benelli ultralight on a 16 ga frame. A browning silver would be nice too. Plus the wheels are already a bit greased from all of the work that Mr. Hammack has been up to at Browning.
Whichever gun would need to have choke tubes and they would need to handle steel and the other hard non-toxics. |

Explanation is not necessary. |

Gold Label with double triggers, or an RBL. |

I'd have to say a Caesar Guerini with 30" barrels would be great. Beretta 391 would be incredible as well. |

Remington 1100 with a true 16 frame, or even a 20LT frame.
Beretta A303 (or its derivatives) with scaled frame.
Browning Gold scaled frame.
Ruger Red Label scaled frame. |

Easy, but varied answer. My picks would be: Remake of the Ithaca NID, Browning BSS, CSMC RBL, Beretta 391. Any one of those would make me happy, and in that order. |

Benelli Montefeltro. Best upland gun made.
Ruger could, I believe, make a perfectly satisfactory Red Label using the current 20 gage frame. |

100% agreement with UncleDanFan on a Ruger Gold Label with two triggers. |

Beretta 391, Beretta 686, Franchi 48 AL or 720, BSS, RBL on correctly scaled frames.
Pick one ANY ONE (or more) of the above |

In addition to the gold label I cited above, a remake of the Lefever 16 on the XX 20ga. small frame would be awesome. That design is unsurpassed even today. |

Ken Hurst is trying or at least tried to get the ball rolling on that very gun. I haven't heard much about it's progress but if it comes to fruition (I don't know why but I really like that word) it will be a very limited production especially built for the buyer and e x p e n s i v e. |
