I think he just found a way to join two barrels together, cost effectively, perfectly, to his standards, every time. sxs here we come.

May as well think positive.

Things are looming on the horizon that will shock the very foundations of the companies that hate the 16ga .

I will not let you in on what is going on untill it is on paper , if it falls through I dont want to open mouth and insert foot .

THIS IS THE BIGGEST THING TO EVER HAPPEN TO THE 16GA .

KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED FOR ALL OF US THAT THIS ONE HAPPENS .

I am expecting the mold to be done soon will give Arnie a visit to see just how much longer , been working on these projects and just have not had the time to check.

I want Winchester to remake the AA; that would have the biggest effect on the future of the gauge.

Bill Gates and Warren Buffet have created an endowment for every current member of the sixteen gauge society. We will get our own private Sporting clays course, hunting preserve, and lodge in every state. Plus free shells for life. Who cares if the hull can be reloaded, we get as many as we want!

Guess all those who thought the 16ga was dead are regreting it now..

(If you ask me to dream big, I will...)

I agree with two pipe 100%. Nothing is holding back the 16 ga. from it's true potential and deserved popularity than the lack of a quality hull that is equal to the best reloadable cases available in the other more popular gauges.

Svelt great handling 16 ga. guns would start becoming more commonly seen in the uplands and on clay fields if serious reloaders (which most true shotgun affecionados are) had hulls to work with that were winners like the best 12 and 20 compression hulls that are available. We all know the 16's pragmatism for the uplands. If a good hull existed I'm thinking you'd start to see many more 16's being used in clay leagues and all the formal competition games too as the word spread. The 16 can compete equally with the 12's and 20's for all practical purposes in any clays game in my opinion.

But lots of shooters are thinking I'm sure: "why pay more for crummy hulls which are harder to obtain...I'll stick with the other gauges". Hence, they miss out on discovering a good thing.

Availability of new guns and accessories would be enhanced by good ammo and vice versa. I'd sure like to see it but I'm not holding out too strong of a hope. Winchester discontinued the AA16 for a reason. Economics and supply and demand principals are hard to dispute.

We can only hope.
