Looking at the loading data that comes with the Lee Load All. Really the only determining factor that they are showing is the base wad. Giving suggested powder drops with only the base wad construction and payload weight. I'm guessing that these are really rather light loads for them to simply make the blanket statement that this xx oz. load in a plastic based wad shell will give you this out come with this much of xx powder.

Am I reading too much into this? I've got other loading data, but just thought it curious that they would send such generalized information out with a reloader.

Use real loading data, not Lee's.

I loaded with a Load All for years but used the data from manuals and the free booklets from the powder companies.

I use other data with my Lee also, but the powder bushings supplied do prevent in between adjustments. A powder scale is a must. I like my Lee a lot for general small batch loading duties, but I would like to upgrade to a Mec with a universal charge bar eventually.

Load All manual also says that practically you can substitute primers as you want, there ainīt any major differences on them...Very Happy

From Lee Modern Reloading Second Edition page 185:

"The listed loads assume the user will be using components that will cause the highest pressure."

"Any change of components will give lower and safe pressures."
