It's January 6-8 in Stamford, CT.

Found it on the SSBB. Sounds intresting, but I haven't really looked into it hard yet(there's allways tommorow.)
If I don't do that I might hit Addiville for a little clays sat, then watch Brady do his thing, skiing sun.

Thanks H, I've never been to that one. However, I have a league shoot Sunday, and I've not cracked the case on my trap gun in 4 weeks now, so Saturday might be better spent busting a few practice birds. But, on the other hand...Geez!... so many guns, so little time, decisions, decisions. Wink

I've been looking at a 1620 at Kittery Trading Post up in Me. Used 95% they are asking 2900, and I'm just about ready to spring for it. (another reason to question the RBL I bought) Only question I have is after the 1620 on the rib it says No 3, not sure if it's part of a multi gun set or what, any idea's. Think the thing is right at 6lbs.
Tim

Tim, that's the #3 gun 1620 here in North America and possibly the world. I have #19, and I know the fellow (Ron White aka Sundog) who has #1. The newer 1620's I've seen do not have the gun # on the rib, so I don't know how many were stamped.

If it's in excellent shape I'd definately go for it! Fast!

Dave - I bought #11 from Cabelas last week. What year did they start production?

Good going Highcountry! You'll love it! Welcome to the club!

I think they started in 2002. I have Larry Brown's book on pheasant hunting and he signed it for me at one of our WI SxS shoots in July of 2003. In the book Larry talks about using the 1620 on pheasants (with a picture of it) and I reckon that was the 2002 season. I'm pretty sure it was 2002, (but I've been known to be wrong on dates before).
