| Yesterday in our newspaper there was a weekly flyer for Meijer Stores (a kind of Dep't/Variety store like the Marts) stating that Winchester ammo would be on sale today only ---buy one at regular price, get 50% off the second box, limit 8 boxes. I checked today and they had Winchester Super-X 16 gauge 1 oz #8's and #6 for $6.99/box so 2 boxes cost me roughly $10.50 or $5.25 apiece. I bought 8 boxes and then sent my son in for 2 boxes of Winchester Super X 150 gr. 30-30's and wound up paying about $11/box for those. Not exactly bargain-basement prices but maybe close to as good as we'll find for awhile; thought I'd pass it on.... |
