I want to thank who ever it was on here that mentioned that there was a 16 ga. Browning BPS GRD. III available at a local store near me. I had called all over the place trying to locate one about 3 months ago and even had them check the wholesalers with no success and then I heard about this one so I went and checked it out and bought it, I guess it was a ShotShow gun. What a sweet little gun, it has the 26" barrel and actually weighs under 7 lbs. (I'll get a more accurate weight on it when I get out my good scale). What a beautiful little gun, the wood isn't terrific but it's real nice with plenty of fiddle back and very nice color. I haven't handled one with a 28" barrel but I can't imagine it balancing any nicer than this little 26". Anyway I'm very happy to have been able to get one of these (thanks again!!) and I'm very pleased with it and I just had to share. |

Update if anybody really cares: when I got out my scale at home my new BPS actually weighed 7 lbs. 2 ozs. but feels much lighter, I don't know which scale was more accurate the stores or mine? I guess you could split the difference and call it 7 lbs. Also after getting it home and wiping it down the wood is really nice, both the fore stock and the butt stock are cut from the same piece of wood and are just covered with fiddleback and the color in real lighting is really much nicer also, very very nice little gun. |

And that's what matters!!
Congratulations on getting what you wanted, whoever put you on to that gun might be chewing his nails with regret. |
