Look deeper into that crystal ball and give us some info--Browning had the short production run of the 525---My bet is on the K gun made in Germany |

Perazzi can always re-start production of the MX-16. I suppose in this economy a high dollar Clays gun could work out.
Have any of you handled the Perazzi MX-20? It seemed to be a very nice gun. |

If it happens, I'd be surprised. It always made sense to me though. You know if the internationals shoot 7/8 oz of shot and the trend in the US is going to lighter 1 oz loads, Why not a sporting 16 gauge. Why carry a 12 ga just to shoot those light loads.
If it happens, i vote it will be Beretta that makes it. Just a guess as they have no 16's in production. |

Why carry a bigger, heavier gun to shoot targets with? Because a bigger, heavier gun will both:
1) Absorb more recoil;
2) Swing more smoothly.

Hello Ole Southern Lawyer :
Hmm!!!!!!! lets us gaze into the little birdies eyes now , Ahhh !!!!!!!!! I see something , yes I see it now , waitttt now wait a little more , yes it is more clearly now it is a gun that is in the 6 digits , wait I see more .
Only those folks that think they have very large appendages can afford this gun , wait it looks as though it's , it's the Lawyer type of folks that rob from the rich and give to the poor that can afford this gun .
Dang here I always heerrrreeed that story tolt the other way , that Lawyers rob the poor and give to the rich , ( folks I think this little birdie is feeding us a line of PORK , WAIT IT COULD BE BULL ) we all know that Lawyers have to have it bigger and better , per our VERY own OLE SOUTHERN LAWYER !
Wait I think I see something more in the little birdddieees eyes .
Yes there it is two words , lets see it looks like well it could be yes , it is still clowney but it looks like HEAVENLY & HAMMACK , no thats not it , it's , it's , H & H now what is that WOW IT LOOKS TO BE HOLLAND & HOLLAND , holy cow could that be , wow only one of those Lawyer Types that rob from the rich and give to the poor , could afford a gun of that type , surely one of us poor peasants could never afford such a SPORTING CLAYS GUN .
Wow I see something else it looks like the name of BOOZZZZEEEEE something like , CROWN ROYAL , hmmm !! yep that is what it looks like , I think I have heeaaarrrd of that before being as I am a dumb ole hillbilly and never partook of any of that booozzzeee stuff , I amd surely not the one to say if that is a high dollar shotgun or boooozzzee .
So lets recap what Ole Southern Lawyer could own in a month or so , it looks like it is a HOLLAND & HOLLAND , CROWN ROYAL , SPORTING CLAYS 16GA . THAT COST SIX DIDGIT'S .
Well the little birdie just flew away and I cannot tell anymore by looking at this picture of OLE SOUTHERN LAWYER on the puter so I am going to just put him back in his place in the files and let you folks do the same .
Regards
Charles |

I was hoping you were going to say Beretta or Perazzi. Either or and I would make an effort to afford one. Holland & Holland it might as well be a dream,
Holland & Holland, haven't seen any of their guns ever win a gold medal or a calcutta. They have a name and build "pretty guns", but I don't remember anyone of any real shooting ability that shoots a Holland & Holland. You at least would think George Digweed might, but he shoots a Perazzi.
Charles, an old hillbilly like you get a hold of yourself. NOW you are fooling around with a Holland & Holland, I thought you had enough of those "pretty Darne guns". You are going to hurt yourself sooner or later messing around with them.
Hell boy pretty soon you are going to forget your raising, stop eating Momma's biscuits and pheasant and start with Tea and Crumpets.
Shoot, first it was wads, then BDA's, then talk of a hull. then before that dust died down you start running on about Holland & Holland 16 gauge guns? You are going downhill fast Charles!!! |

Nicholas ol' pal...why didn't you say it would be H&H?? That makes sense. I thought you were referring to a "limited run" of some kind of more standard-grade sport gun like a Zoli that would cost less than your house.
With the limited production capacity of H&H and their price tags for true "customized guns" they will (and should!) make you just about any kind of gun you want! Including that new model with the toasted sandwich maker in the stock!
Considering that the dollar is gonna nosedive against world currencies due to our enormous national debt, I think you'd better order TWO of these guns before the prices get too high due to bad exchange rates! That way you'd have one on reserve for you and one for ol' Ben! You could even let me borrow one occasionally for turkey season...H&H DOES make extended extra-full chokes, right?? |

Charles, you don't need a crystal ball to see that one. It is on page 40 of the June issue of Sporting Clays Magazine. The Holland & Holland Royal 16 ga sporting clays gun new for 2009. It looks very nice but I knew I couldn't afford it. So much for seeing into the future. |

"Anything worth doing is worth overdoing." Oscar Wilde.
Once again, the English are following another crazy, half smashed Irishman's advice. The sad fact of the matter is somebody even crazier will buy one of these overdone guns. |
