If you don't mind my asking, Pudel, how much did Briley want for the extended tubes? I'm thinking of buying a pair of the skeet tubes.....

$39.99 was the cost. Well worth it in my opion. My citori shot well with the factory chokes. But the patterning board proves the brileys are superior by a good margin. No holes in the patterns I have the skeet,ic,light mod and improved mod. I like a liitle tighter pattern for sporting clays and ducks. Alot of longer shots and tricky angles.

I recently bought two extended 16 ga. choke tubes out of the used tube box at Kittery Trading Post for about $7 each. I thought they were Briley tubes, but now know they are Trulock choke tubes from their Precision Hunter line. They appear to be well made. They come in constrictions from Cylinder to extra extra full in .005" increments. They are 34.95 retail. I'd bet you could buy them at a better price through a wholesaler or one of their distributors. They are on the web under Truchoke. 16GG.

Gentlemen,
These chokes are now spoken for!!!

I recently traded my 16 ga Browning grade 3 in on something else. And I now have a set of 16 ga. Briley choke tubes that I have no use for;

1 cyl
2 skeet
1 improved cyl
1 light mod
1 mod
1 improved mod
1 full

will throw in a set of Orvis snap caps
and a set of Browning 16 ga reducers "little skeeters"
2 16 to 20 ga
2 16 to 28 ga
2 16 to 410 ga

the gauge reducers are not much good for any clay target games as they DO NOT eject and the shells have to be pushed out. But may come in handy on that hunting trip when finding 16 ga ammo proves a chore.
everything is 16 ga of course- in total they cost me over $450- will let them all go for $200.

email me if intrested at bruce.terrill@comcast.net

As stated above, Trulock also makes ext tubes for the 16 ga. I have a couple and they work just fine.
