I have several hundred Super X 16 ga empties that I'd like to load with an ounce of shot at modest velocity (1220 fps range). I have rem SP16 wads and Claybuster clones, Win 16 ga wads.
Any recipes out there?

Take a little time and look at the IMR/Hodgdon powder web sight. They may have what you seek.

| I like Unique powder. I use the old compression formed hulls you speak of, WAA16 wad (I have a pretty good stock of them), Win primer. I like it alot. |

A little (lot) of caution is needed because these are two completely different hulls. |

| Hogdgon?IMR Have some loads for the Win/ched that you have. i tried the ones in the rem hull with 1oz loads/sp16 and had to use a little filler. I also used some WAA16 wads(original) and no filler. PB powder W209 primer |
