Hi everyone,
I just got my another round of tested loads back from Tom Armbrust. Out of 12 loads tested, I have 7 that were under Sammi Max. Not all were as consistent as I would like, but I'll live with it. Results are listed for data only. Use at your own risk. I also posted the data sheets on the LPG. These loads are very exact, and that is for a reason. Never substitute components. For example, buffers are not interchangable, and substituting Precision Reloading buffer for MIX 47 WILL increase pressure signifigantly. Components were chosen to give the best performance and patterns, and to maintain a safe pressure.
The loads are all 16 gauge and all 6-point crimp, and are as follows: (I left the numbering sequence as I had them listed on the test sheets...incase some of you think I can't count  )
Load #1:
· 3/4 oz #7 ½ magnum lead shot (Lawrance)
· Cheddite Blue Hull (16 mm brass) 2 ¾” 16 ga
· Fed209A Primer
· 20 grains Greendot powder
· DR16 wad (Downrange)
FPS (1489, 1499, 1467, AVG 1485 ES 32)
PSI (10400, 9400, 10100, AVG 9966 ES 1000)
Load #2: (This is a great load IMO and patterns very, very well for me.)
· 1 ¼ oz #6 lead shot (Remington)
· Cheddite Green Hull (8 mm brass) 2 ¾” 16 ga
· Win209 Primer
· 22.5 grains Longshot powder
· Cheddite 1628 wad
FPS (1209, 1211, 1217, AVG 1212 ES 8 )
PSI (11000, 10600, 11200, AVG 10933 ES 600)
Load #3: (Also pattens good...shell crimp is a little dished)
· 1 1/8 oz #6 lead shot (Remington)
· Cheddite Green Hull (8 mm brass) 2 ¾” 16 ga
· Win209 Primer
· 24 grains Longshot powder
· Cheddite 1628 wad
FPS (1287, 1327, 1302, AVG 1305 ES 40)
PSI (10200, 10900, 10700, AVG 10600 ES 700)
Load #7: (Shell designed for a .610 turkey choke)
· 1 1/8 oz #5 ½ nickel plated lead shot (BPI)
· Cheddite Blue Hull (16 mm brass) 2 ¾” 16 ga
· Ched209 Primer (What comes in the new hulls)
· 20.5 grains Longshot powder
· (1) 16 ga. Gualadni Gas seal from Precision Reloading TUWGS16
· (1) 1/8” Nitro Cards (BP NC16)
· (1) 1/4” 20ga Cork wad
· Shot cup from a Claybusters WAA16 (gas seal and compression legs removed)
· 16 grains MIX 47 Buffer (approx. (1) 2.5cc dipper full)
· (1) 16ga Overshot card (BP OS16)
FPS (1160, 1147, 1156, AVG 1154 ES 13)
PSI (9500, 9200, 9400, AVG 9366 ES 300)
Load #8: (I don't like this load...but results are listed anyway. Works well in a full or modified choke.)
· 8 OO Hornady Buckshot pellets
· Cheddite Green Hull (8 mm brass) 2 ¾” 16 ga
· Ched209 Primer (What comes in the new hulls)
· 23 grains Longshot powder
· (2) Ballistic Products OB16 gas seals
· (2) 1/8” Nitro Cards (BP NC16)
· Teflon Wrap cut to 2 1/16” by 15/16”
· 20 grains MIX 47 Buffer (approx. 1 ¼ 2.5cc dippers full)
· (1) 16ga Overshot card (BP OS16)
FPS (1284, 1284, 1305, AVG 1291 ES 21)
PSI (9400, 9800, 10500, AVG 9900 ES 1100)
Load #9: (Works best in a modified choke.)

· 23 grains MIX 47 Buffer (7/8 oz shot dipper full of Buffer)

Load #10: (Works best in a full choke. Patterns tight. You must stack 2x2)
· 12 #1 Hornady Buckshot pellets (stacked 2x2)
· Cheddite Blue Hull (16 mm brass) 2 ¾” 16 ga
· Fed209A Primer
· 24 grains Steel powder
· Remington SP-16 wad
· 25 grains PSB Buffer (2.5 cc dipper full)
· (1) 16ga Overshot card (BP OS16)
