I apologize for the totally self serving post, but I've entered this picture of my Wirehaired Vizsla, Winnie, in the Field and Stream Gun Dog Photo Contest. Maybe others here have their dog's pics entered also? You can vote for multiple dogs, it seems, just not twice for the same photo.

So if you're bored, please consider stopping by Field and Stream and voting for Winnie. She's on page 11, third column from the left and toward the bottom of the page.

Oh, it can't win. Only English Setters, pointers, GSP's or labs can win.

I sent a picture of my St Usuge Spaniel into GunDog Magazine's "puppy pictures" and they didn't put it in. Many labs, GSP's etc, but how many people would like to have seen a St Usuge Spaniel? I emailed the editor and got the obligatory horse shit, gave up. Canceled subscription.

Good looking dog there EddieF. I'll go vote and help you out. As for GDM pic's, your right on that one Hootch. If they don't have the breed in their (REGISTRY), it don't count! Kind of like (REGISTERD) golden doodles and jack shitz. OH WELL!!!!!!!

I just voted and you got my vote. I looked over those pictures and I hate to say it, but there is some ugly dogs in this world.

There are about a half a dozen shots in there that I really like. But it just comes down to who knows more people - and people who don't mind signing up to vote. That's going to keep the numbers down for sure.
