I have been researching and need some help. Does anyone know what years/serial numbers for the Model 12 in accordance with the various chamber lengths? The reason I am asking is I have a chance to get two Model 12's, one 20 and one 16. Both are early guns and I am just curious.

Factorey or well done conversions are marked 23/4 - if not they are short chambers . marked on left side of barrel .

Chamber length changed to 2 3/4" in 1927 at serial number 464,565. This applies to both 16 and 20 gauge.
